From: Technically Sugartree, MO; on the banks of the Missouri River between the sprawling metropolises of Norborne and Carrollton

Family: Husband, 3 sons (19, 15, and 13), and very spoiled puppy (Lilo)

Places Lived: college in Kansas City, MO; first job in Raleigh, NC; Spokane, WA where hubby got his Master's degree; and finally to Faison, NC where we've raised our boys

Favorite Sports Teams: Kansas City CHIEFS and ROYALS

Favorite Food: all of them!! I am not picky when it comes to food!

Strange Facts About Me: My grandmother, who was an amateur genealogist, has traced our family's roots back to the earliest days of our nation, and my family has been recognized as one of Missouri's Founding Farms. My father and his ancestors have been continuously farming in the Missouri River bottoms since 1816; even before Missouri declared statehood. 

Hobbies/Interests: Cycling, Birdwatching (a lot of times while cycling), Road Farming (this comes from growing up on a row crop farm, I love to check out the crops when cycling...especially), TRAVEL (want to see the world), Hiking and Camping with my family, Kayaking, Beekeeping, Gardening, Puzzles and Needlecraft. And soon I will be adding Pottery, getting ready to take my 2nd pottery class.
